Web-Fluid is the synthetic, fast-curing adhesive that Peter Parker formulated and loaded into his wrist-mounted web-shooters, giving him the ability to sling between skyscrapers, trap villains, and build improvised tools mid-swing. Rather than a gift of the spider-bite itself, the fluid is a product of Parker's genius in chemistry and materials science, making it one of the most iconic examples of a superhero's technology being as defining as his powers.

The fluid is stored in small canisters within the web-shooter housings, and Parker has iterated on the formula over decades, tweaking viscosity, tensile strength, and adhesion for different missions. A gossamer, slightly iridescent strand coaxed itself from between his knuckles, trembling in the rain. It was ugly. It was uncontrolled. It was his.

He fired. The web caught the rearview mirror, held, and he swung.
