Web-Goop is the viscous, adhesive fluid that powers Spider-Man's signature web-shooters. In the foundational comic-book continuity, Peter Parker is a human, not a spider. His bite grants him superhuman strength, agility, and a 'spider-sense,' but it does not give him webbing. The webs are pure invention: a chemistry he reverse-engineered from his own accelerated scientific understanding, mixed in a home lab, and loaded into compact canisters he designed to clip onto his forearms.
